We are Ian and Beatriz. An Australian and a Catalan who met on the Camino de Santiago 8 years ago and since then they have continued walking together.

In March 2015, after a trip of several months in Australia, we decided to move to what is now our house, a beautiful place surrounded by forest in the Penedés region. What started as an alternative to noise, crowding and high prices in the city, has become our passion over time. Working in the forest - removing branches, cleaning the undergrowth, recovering the centuries-old stone walls - reveals new corners every day full of beauty and stillness.

The Teepeepontons project was forged during these days in the forest from the desire to share our experience.

Ian - who has owned a sheep farm in Australia for 20 years - has brought all his experience and many skills to the planning and creation of the facility. Beatriz -with 25 years of experience in body work and macrobiotic nutrition- has contributed with her vision and knowledge to create a space for personal recovery and silence.
